Introducing Our Teen Weight Loss Program for Ages 12–18!
This is How It Works
Consultation
First, you will have a consultation in person or via video with Dr. Marriott. This will be billed to your insurance.
Order Medicine
Once you and Dr. Marriott decide to move forward with the program, we will order the medicine and process your first payment.
The medicine will arrive via delivery to your doorstep from the pharmacy within 7 days.
First Dose
We meet again in person or via video visit for the first dose of the medicine to discuss the technique.
Follow - Up
Each month, you’ll return for an in-person visit, or video visit if previously arranged.
Weekly Report
Once per week, each patient will text Dr. Marriott a report of daily exercise, water intake, protein intake. This is a very simple text.
Program Description
Our monthly subscription covers the cost of the medicine, communication via text message each week, access for texting to ask questions, and a monthly visit with Dr. Marriott. Medicine prices can change frequently due to industry factors outside our control. To get a price quote for this program, please contact our clinic directly.
Patients have seen immediate cessation of weight gain the first month and typically start losing weight on month 2. As the dose increases, we aim for a monthly weight loss of 4-8 pounds.
Phase 1
Phase 1 is three to six months as we increase the dose.
Phase 2
Phase 2 is increasing to maintenance dosing, where the main weight loss occurs. This is usually around 12-18 months.
Phase 3
Phase 3 is long-term maintenance with less frequent visits and lower dosing. We plan to help you maintain your weight loss and the investment of your time and resources by helping you maintain an active, healthy lifestyle and helping you gain access to this medicine at a lower dose long-term. A commitment to long-term use is not required to start the program, but is likely to be more successful.
